Here is some information specific to those of you who will be presenting:
Presentations may be about any literary, cultural or linguistic topic related to Spanish, Hispanic-American or Luso-Brazilian literature or linguistics. Panels will be made up of 3-4 presentations, each limited to 20-minutes, after which there will be a session of questions and answers. Handouts/photocopies are the responsibility of the presenter. Presentations may be made in English, Spanish or Portuguese.
Technology: All session rooms are equipped with a smart cart which includes PowerPoint, etc.
Photocopies: You can make copies at the Paley Library (you must show a picture ID and sign in to enter). Someone at the sign in desk or the reference desk (once you enter, go to the left) can direct you to the photocopiers.
No. At time time we are unable to take on such a large project but perhaps in the future.
Crash Pads - If you are presenting and coming from out of town and need a place to stay because it is financially impossible for you to stay at a hotel, then you may stay with one of our students. Space is VERY limited and reserved on a first come, first served basis. To request a "crash pad", please confirm your participation and send an email to tucsps@temple.edu subject: crash pad!.
Completed Acceptance means that your abstract has been approved by your corresponding committee and you already have completed registration and paid for the conference. If your registration is incomplete, then you have not confirmed your participation.
In the event that you are presenting and need a letter of invitation for your embassy. Send an email to tucsps@temple.edu subject: invitation letter. Include your full name, address, affiliation and the title of your abstract and a letter will be emailed to you in the form of a .pdf file.
To register you must go to the registration page and you can register online or dowload and print a registration form. You also have the choice of paying with cash, a personal check or credit card (PayPal). Be sure to read all of the information posted and review your registration form before submitting.
Yes. In order to confirm your participation you must register for the conference.
Yes. All persons attending the conference must register.
The registration fees vary, so it is important that you review the most up-to-date fee schedule on the registration page.
No. Since the registration is a flat fee, you can only register for the conference as a whole.
